Miami Waterkeeper x Diver's Paradise Scuba Cleanup
Miami Waterkeeper is proud to join Diver's Paradise for our first-ever Scuba Clean-up!

Make sure to register for the 5/4/2024 dive with Miami Waterkeepet at 10am.
VOLUNTEER DAY MAIN TASKS:
- Removal of marine debris from the marine ecosystem
This volunteer event may require heavy lifting and at least an open-water dive certification. Hence teenagers and older groups are recommended. If younger age groups participate, they should be monitored at all times by the designated guardian, parents, etc. *Community Service hours also provided*
IMPORTANT VOLUNTEER INFORMATION:
- Please be on time. Please arrive at 9 am to allow time to rent gear and sign waivers!
Please Bring:
- Refillable water bottle. Stay hydrated!
- If you have your own dive gear you are welcome to bring it ($70 to reserve your spot on the boat) Other wise you can pay $95 for your spot on the boat and a tank and weights.
- Swimsuit/rashguard for snorkeling (mask and snorkels are provided but fins are not provided- due to the shallow nature of the reef, we do not recommend them).
- A hat and sun protection
- Gloves you feel comfortable wearing (otherwise Miami Waterkeeper will provide gloves).
The event is weather-dependent and will be canceled with at least 24 hours' notice if inclement weather is anticipated.
The event lasts around 4 hours with an end time of around 1:00pm.
Please meet at Diver's Paradise dive shop (4000 Crandon Blvd. Key Biscayne, FL 33149) at 8:30am.
The fee breakdown below:
- $70 per person for a 2-tank dive clean-up (does not include any dive gear)
- $95 per person for 2 tank dives, including tank and weights.
Gear Rental: (if you don't have your own gear, you'll need to rent it from Diver's Paradise)
- $50 for all gear (includes regulator, BCD, mask, fins, and snorkel) <---- highly recommend this package!!
- $20 for mask, fins, snorkel
- $25 for regulator
- $20 for BCD
Registration fees are due in order to RSVP and refunds will not be issued for no-shows.
