University of Miami x SeaKeepers Beach Cleanup

Join SeaKeepers as we partner with students from the University of Miami Herbert Business School for a beach cleanup on Friday, April 17th at Historic Virginia Key Beach Park from 9 AM - 12 PM!

In order to participate in the cleanup, all volunteers must complete the mandatory Liability and Appearance Release Waiver HERE.

Meeting spot: Meet us at the Main Pavilion at Historic Virginia Beach Park located at 4020 Virginia Beach Dr, Miami, FL 33149. Let the guard know you are there for the beach cleanup for free entry into the park.

Parking: Free parking is available throughout the park. We reccommend parking near the playground and visitor center to be closest to the Main Pavilion. Carpooling is always recommended to save on emissions!

What to bring:

  • Close toed shoes
  • Sun protective clothing
  • Hat and sunglasses
  • Sunscreen and bug spray
  • Water in a reusable bottle

We will provide:

  • Gloves
  • Pickers
  • Buckets
  • Bags
  • Water refills
  • Community service hours
