Jacksonville Ghost Trap Rodeo

Jacksonville Ghost Trap Rodeo

Ocean Aid 360 and CCA Florida present The Ghost Trap Rodeo Tournament Series!

Attention Jacksonville Boaters, Anglers, Paddlers and Shoreline Walkers! It's just like your favorite inshore fishing tournaments, but instead of reds & trout we're weighing in derelict fishing gear including crab traps, plastics & other forms of marine debris!

Help us clean up your estuary for thousands in great industry prizes and an even better cause!

The Ghost Trap Rodeo Tournament Series is dedicated to improving and maintaining the health of Florida's sensitive marine environments for the longevity of our shallow water fishery.

Thanks to our partners at FWC we will be operating this clean up during the crab trap fishing closure. This window of opportunity allows us to remove any trap found in the watershed that may have been moved during a storm, had it's buoy cut off by a boat or has been abandoned by its angler.
