Michele Hart
hART for the Ocean Foundation is a nonprofit that combines art, education, and action to protect our oceans. Founded by artist and wellness advocate Michele Hart, our mission is to inspire people of all ages to care for the environment by transforming “trash into treasure.” With years of experience volunteering alongside Send It For The Sea and VolunteerCleanup.org, Michele was inspired to launch hART for the Ocean Foundation as a way to unite her love of art and community service. Through beach cleanups, creative installations, and youth education, we empower volunteers to see how small actions make a big impact. Each cleanup not only restores our shoreline but also sparks awareness—turning collected debris into meaningful art that tells the story of conservation. We believe that when people connect through creativity and community, we can make lasting waves of change for our planet. 🌍💙
