Join us for EcoAction Days, a monthly volunteer event that offers a unique opportunity to make a difference in our community. By participating, you can help protect and restore natural areas in and around Miami-Dade County. Our team of professional naturalists will guide you through projects such as removing invasive plants, planting native species, mulching, and cleaning up litter. Together, we can preserve the beauty of our nature centers and parks.
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Remove invasive or exotic vegetation
• Plant and mulch native species
• Clean up garbage
Qualifications:
Volunteers under 13 must participate with a parent or guardian present.
Commitment Expected:
Please arrive at your scheduled start time. Community service hours will be provided at the end of the event.
